Really? Both of my boys are still wearing pairs that I bought them three years ago.

The older pairs I owned didn't rip we gave them away because DS outgrew them.
The newer pairs are the ones we have ripping. I definitely think they've changed something with the material

Hi! I'm the OP of this thread
Unfortunately, I never found anything similar. I still have my price watch set on Amazon, and when they go down to the $20-22 range I buy a pair or two.
My son doesn't ask for much, so I've come to terms with this expense on his behalf

Send the real ones to camp
There are very few things I buy name brand
But from what I see everyone is wearing them and the boys who wear off brands stick out.

These are them
https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....50f87
(The ones from ebay look like fakes)
As I wrote above, set a price watch on camelcamelcamel.com
I've gotten these for $23 at times. You have time before camp for them to go down in price
They also run very long. My son is 5'8" and wears a size Large in youth, whereas all his other clothes he's already wearing mens sizes

One time in a month? Oh my...
I got 8 pairs for my son, who had laundry done every week (but it took an additional two days from Laundry Day to get their stuff back)

Things I have learned about Tiro's from my sons:
Every few years they change the design (tiro 17, tiro 19, tiro 21). Not sure how important it is to get the most current year. My son actually likes the 2019 one design better than the 21's.
The kids wear them tapered and with a zipper near the ankle. My son said - don't get one with cuffs at the ankle and not the sweat pants.
Color doesn't seem to be as important - might differ on type of camps you go to. I have only bought him a few when I found them on sale and they were the black ones with white stripes. I have also seen dark grey and navy ones being worn.
I plan to send some tiro's and some other brands if I can find them with the same fit but cheaper. I know target has a boys one for $24 (Target pants). I never bought it, but my friends have. I don't really want to spend more than $20 on these pants so haven't bought them yet.

One more thing, some of my sons can wear either a boys or a men's, so I look for sales in both.

The first link yes, but as Scarlet wrote my son also likes the 2019 ones better.
The second link I'm not sure are the right thing, hard to tell from the picture
