Months and months. Only once after who knows how long did I have mold on top. Properly refrigerated it lasts and I do not keep other items long. I see online it says 2 weeks... I never should have looked!

It doesn’t last that long once it’s opened. Pour off part into another jar and freeze it / unless you’ll use the whole thing in one shot.

A month?

It won’t look right or smell right when it starts going bad.

If your fridge is cold and you don't "contaminate" it with other food/dirty spoons it can last at least a month. It will start growing mold when it's going bad. If you don't see mold just give it a taste to make sure.

I find that the Toscanini brand molds fastest anyone else had that?

I read somewhere to store the jar on its head. Lasts longer because it prevents mold growth. Think it’s because there is no air pockets between the cap and the food. (Nothing sticks to the bottom of the jar when it’s on it’s head like it does on the cap)

I recently had a can of marinara in the fridge for not that long of a time definitely less then a month and it had certainly gone sour tasting.....

(except if it was just my pregnant taste buds in overdrive Wink )

A good few weeks. I use it as long as it smells good and there is no mold.
