We are planning to go for a few days iyh at the end of the summer. What else can we do besides the park itself? Which hotel is cheap yet nice for kids to stay in?

You can take the tour of the chocolate factory. There's also a trolley tour of the town of Hershey and they give out Hershey kisses.
Dutch Wonderland
All the Amish stuff nearby
There's a farm but I don't remember the name.
Anderson factory tour (I think - I haven't been to that area in a while)

we are also thinking of going end of August. I heard Indian echo caverns is nice and Hershey's chocolate world is free and fun. So one day those and we can go into Hershey at night when cooler and less crowded and then Hershey park next day. Anyone know hotel w pool and suite? Anyone know park nearby to make a barbeque one night? What about kosher food or I'll bring my own
