Anyone know of a kid friendly place to stop between Lakewood and New Hampshire? Zoo, farm, park, anything to break up the trip about halfway. TIA!

Depending on what route you're taking, we often stop en route to NH at the Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden (and Museum if you like) in Springfield, MA. It's unique, whimsical, fun, and free, and a nice place to get out and stretch the legs that's only a few minutes off the highway.
