I love Marriage by Rav Pliskin. It has little stories and covers skills and ideas that are important for all relationships, especially marriage. We like it so much we copied down a list from it and have it posted on our fridge.

One of my favorite ideas from it is to thank Hashem for your spouse after you say modi ani and to think of things you appreciate about them. It really makes a difference doing just something little like that.

OK the best book out there is called: "The five love languages" by Dr. Chapman. He writes so clearly how to understand and please eachother. Once you read it you will see how simple it is to make eachother happy everyday! You can buy it in Amazon or Overstock for cheaper then the stores! Enjoy it!

the river that brings 2 entities together

the kettle that cooks and changes the way two interact

and the bird - the two become 1 to a full unity

Does anyone recall the name of the orthodox rabbi who used to host a show on The Learning Channel called "Shalom in the Home"? He's rather unconventional, but his books are supposed to be really enlightening.
