My DD, age 10, seems to lose her manners and common sense when she is around her friends or has spent time with them (like at camp). I'm not sure what to do about it. I've had a few talks with her and reprimands. Seems to go nowhere. It's as if her personality changes when she has company. It just doesn't seem like her but on the other hand, perhaps it's hormones. I know she desperately wants to have friends and she can be easily talked into "bad ideas" by them sometimes. So, I get that she some of this she just wants to impress or at least not disappoint friends.
