I was just told they're not even having one of my sons age/grade.

Why are the mother's not on the group? As I said before, my son's school in Monsey, they have all the fathers and mothers on the group. There's an option that allows only the Admin to post on the group.

Which kitah? Afaik they're having from alef till ches. Tes already started last week they're on a separate program.

Anyone else skeptical that they will open sunday??so turned off from this cheder and how irresponsible it all was.but I have no other choices.

Look at this point all I can do is think positive. What's the point of being skeptical? Are there any other choices?
The people in charge are working their heads off to get this going.
If you'd make some phone calls you'd know.
And take into consideration that they only came into the picture like 2 weeks ago. I give them credit.

Look back at the date of the posts. Sep 1 was when I posted that I heard a new guy is taking it over (that new guy was Guttman). So that's a week and 4 days. It's not like everything was set up and he stepped in to take over. They had to find a building, collect a parent list, hire a menahel and melamdim and I'm sure a zillion other details to see if they can make this work. And then they also got Rosen to come back on board.
Cut them some slack.
I feel if you'd get some phone numbers of the ones in charge and call you'd hear how much they're killing themselves to make this work.
That's what we did and we are just plain parents that care to know.

Because they were truly hoping.
I'm not involved in the nitty gritty but I'm sure there are always details they didn't expect/ didn't know/ got delayed.

I think you need to change your attitude. Your child is feeling it.
My kids are totally unphased. They were so upset that I made them attend the mini cheder. They wanted more vacation time.

I told my kids right away, the opening date isn't for sure. It's a new cheder and they need to prepare everything. So maybe tomorrow maybe not. Whenever it'll be we'll be happy.
And they accepted it.
