It’s expensive. No one seems to believe it. I said it on another thread. You need a tremendous amount up front for building, furniture, staff. No school exists on tuition alone - especially Lakewood tuition. And startup costs are enormous.

I don't understand your post but yes they are opening up.
And yes it is hard to open a new school. Besides funding you need a committed parent body!
A cheder can't survive on 5 kids in a class. Yes there's a need, but many people are selfish and don't want to commit to a new cheder before they see it up and running. (Maybe rightfully so, maybe not.)

Where are you taking your information from? It was just confirmed that Tiferes Yechiel is opening. They have a building, menahel and full staff of melamdim.

I know a lot of the younger ones went to Rutters cheder.
But the oldest grade there is only Gimmel.
