So I was too lazy to bake. We have cake from the bakery.
Then I made the following. Help. Get me outta the kitchen cuz I am on a roll
Minestrone gnocchi soup
Garlic bread - bought
Ramen shakshuka
Salmon cutlets
Kani fried rice.
Baked stuffed potatoes with veggies
Milchig spinach
And now we need something for dessert. Dunno what yet.
I would love love a milkshake. But no place in the freezer for ice cream. My big freezer broke. My small one doesn’t fit anything

Can I have the recipe for minestrone gnocchi soup please?

So I’m also making onion soup and I’m curious if you or others who are also asked a shailah about using wine for the soup. My recipe says it’s optional so I’m just going to skip it but in the past I’ve used it so I don’t know how it will affect the flavor. I’m wondering if specifically using cooking wine would be permitted since it’s not the same as drinking wine. Anyone have any thoughts or have asked about this before?

so why do we feel the need to specify what day it was made. if someone says theyre eating something I assume it tastes good, who cares what day it was made.

You can't use any wine for the soup.

Frozen pizza and ice cream for us over here. And a cake that I baked before Shabbos. We keep it simple.

Fasted 9Av for the first time in years BH. Even said Aneini because davened mincha.

Onion soup, pizza rolls, gatorade. I'll probably be pretty sick tonight so I'll try to limit my eating. I always eat too much and get sicker from that then from the fast.

Not sure what I’ll actually eat. But prepared homemade onion rolls, vege soup, salmon, scrambled eggs (didn’t prepare yet but will make on the spot), and we have plenty of cake and rugelach from Shabbos. Won’t go hungry Smile

Well you are supposed to put vodka in it. Sometimes I do. This time I left it out.

Penne a la vodka has vodka in it! Hence the name.
How exactly are you supposed to make it otherwise?

They served it at a Ateres/ Bnos Melochim event I attended as a teen. I assumed they wouldn't feed a very frum group of BY girls something with vodka?

The effects of the alcohol evaporates when it cooks but the flavor still remains.
