I’m a tourist staying in Toms River and I want to do some touristy stuff in Manhattan.
I have a car.

I see 3 options:
1. Drive to Manhattan but then I have to find parking (and I have a large car), something I imagine will be difficult.
2. Bus/subway there, but obviously that’s more of a hassle.
3. Drive to Staten Island ferry and take that to Manhattan - however I will end up at the wrong side of where I want to be, which is Times Square area.

Which option do you recommend? Or have I missed something?
Thanks!!

I used to park in Secaucus and take the train to Penn Station, you can continue to Times Square from there.

NJ transit has a very convenient bus from Toms River/Beachwood to Port Authortity. Buses back to NJ run until 11:40pm. You can park at the bus stop.

Either bus to the city or drive to the staten island ferry. once you are in the city, uber wherever you want to go.. or get around by bus/ subway.

Bus should work fine and out of rush hour shouldn't be too long.
