Thinking about going there with kids, but I have no clue what to expect. I just remember hearing the name mentioned a couple of times. Can anyone tell what it offers and where exactly to go?

It is a small rocky beach on the Hudson River. It also had a gravel walking/biking path with picnic tables. It is beautiful. We always enjoy going there.
It is a state park so there is a parking fee.
However I took my boys there 2 weeks ago and the road leading to the parking lot was closed and we had to park in a different place and had a 10 minute hike down a mountain which we then had to climb back up to go home.
