Hi, could any of you LA residents tell me if there are Jewish shops selling clothes and shoes like there are in NY. Also which marshals is the best one to go to? And which of the outlets would you recommend if any? Thanks in advance

Go couture on Robertson blvd and Karen Michelle is across the street.
There is a store in the fairfax area called family fashion. There are the Camarillo outlets which are nice but quite a drive from the city.

Estee’s on Beverly between Detroit and Formosa. Ladies and teens clothing.
Laces for kids shoes. They have some ladies shoes too.
Family Fashion- la brea and Clinton- mostly kids. They also have basics like stockings and snoods. The hat box is in the same store
Sparkles and suspenders- expensive kids clothing

It’s a shopping center across the street from the Beverly center.
It’s on La Cienega between Beverly Blvd and 3rd St.

Honestly you can do better shopping the sales at the department stores versus trawling the racks at Marshalls or Ross. In Los Angeles, the major department stores always have stuff on sale and since they are constantly getting new merchandise, the stuff goes on markdown pretty quickly. I used to visit stores - try on stuff and then wait about three weeks and buy on sale.

If you are in Santa Monica, you can combine the beach with the mall on Third Street. The Beverly Center is across from The Beverly Connection and fairly good Macys and Bloomgdales anchoring each end. If you have access to a car, the Sherman Oaks Galleria has some good shopping. Surprisingly Saks Fifth Avenue has pretty good markdown but their stuff is more expensive to start so it depends on whether you want to pay a bit more for a more expensive brand. Neimans has Last Call depending on whether you are in town and the markdowns can also be incredible as I've scored some major bargains at Last Call.

There is also NewMe. On Robertson down by 24th or so. They are closing soon so have excellent sales right now. The owner is switching to online and her back house probably on Sundays. Really sad they are closing- they had a play area for kids while you shop, it is a clean and well kept store, with really reasonable prices. A big problem with LA rent prices.

I shop at Ross, Marshalls, target, Macy's, and other non Jewish stores. You can find tzniyus clothing many places!
