I’m looking for Succos vacation suggestions for a couple from the tri state area. Prefer not a program hotel. International is an option. Help appreciated.

We can if needed. We have a travel sukkah and are fine with simple and premade meals

I‘ve never been in Israel during Sukkot, how is it there, do the kosher restaurants have a sukkah?

What’s your budget? What type of place are you looking for? What do you like to do?

We like sightseeing, museums, and historical type of tours. I would like to stay under $5,000 if possible but can do up to $8,000.

If you have this kind of budget then definitely go to Eretz Yisroel

Have you travelled before and are wondering how to make travel work on Sukkos? Or just looking for good places to travel in general since you seem to have a sukkah and food figured out. Do you prefer Jewish history tours and museums or any type? If you’re not picky about food or accommodations, maybe spend money on a travel guide to help you plan an itinerary? Do you want to be close to a minyan?

Also, do you not want to join a Sukkos program at all or just not a large and crowded one?

We have traveled extensively in general and over chaggim and are not picky about food. We are more experiences type of people. We prefer Jewish related travel. We really just can’t come up with any idea of where to go. Because the chag is so long and so soon we were hoping to hear some experiences. We were thinking of going to a friend’s but they are making a wedding.

We don’t like the programs with the speakers and the meals that take hours. We prefer to do as we please and eat when we are hungry.

Go to London. Lots to see and do and plenty of frum restaurants / Shul’s. Also not so expensive. There’s kosher hotels so you’ll even have a sukkah.

We've traveled extensively over Succos. Favorite places were Puerto Rico and Las Vegas. It's interesting to see how different sukkahs are in different places

If you are going to London because a poster recommended it is cheap there. I just got back yesterday and found the prices were worse than island travel.
