How can anyone make a Vax vs UnVax Study if all kids are forced to be vaxxed in order to attend school or daycare?

There are countries where you can find more non vaccinated people.

YES! unless you have a medical exemption - which government is also taking away, unless kid is on chemotherapy.

They feel that religion should not be observed if it is at the expense of public health. There were people who have no religious objections but couldn't get MEs. They were told by clergy that religion has no specific objections to vaccines. It looks like they tried not to trample on the Torah, Bible, or Koran.

You don't need to convince me that people were 'relying' on the RE as an out.

Soon all states will eliminate REs and MEs - Pharmaceutical Industry is
bribing all state legislatures.

Also, FDA threatened states that if the states don't take away REs the Federal Government will.

So it is not currently a fact that all children need to have vaccinations to to school.

I agree that when I was raising kids, medical decisions were made by doctors rather than governments but because a few doctors pandered to the anti-vax movement and got rich doing it, the government stepped in.

We didn't get to this sorry state because America became a dictatorship overnight.

It sounds like there was more to the situation than what is reported here and it sounds like there was possible child abuse if read the whole article.

The possible child abuse has nothing to do that Dr. Sears was punished and threatened with loss of his license for giving a medical exemption to a child who
had a severe reaction to a vaccine.

How can you justify that, SouthernBubby?

I justify it by saying that other doctors gave medical exemptions when warranted but he had probably given many more than the average doctor and had probably been under investigation. Why else him and not any of the other doctors who occasionally granted MEs?

As contagious as measles is and even with the outbreak, there were less than 1500 cases in the entire country and that is most likely because most people under the age of 62 are vaccinated (with 98% of those born before 1957 to be immune from exposure to the virus itself). So those anti-vaxers who did not catch measles can thank the vaccinated public for that.
Of course you want the rest of us to vaccinate!!! For you it's win win! No jab and no threat of illness! You folks are brilliant.
If all of us were as smart as you, the hospitals would be overwhelmed within a few years.

Those anti-vaxxers who did not catch measles know their options: measles or MMR. They prefer to risk measles. They don't need you to vaccinate. They can choose to do so themselves.

I find it funny how you acknowledge that we are smart, and that you'd love to be as smart as us, but you pity the hospitals so you do vaccinate. As if you're the martyr sacrificing to vaccinate so that anti-vaxxers don't have to. That's not how it goes! You vaccinate to protect yourself!

Dr. Sears didn't do a medical evaluation of the child prior to granting the exemption. That was the main issue.

I looked it up. He was already on the outs with the medical society for his anti-vax advocacy but he failed to do the appropriate diagnostic exams for both the head injury and the vaccine injury as well as the fact that what was being termed a vaccine injury was not the type of reaction consistent with a vaccine injury.

Dr. Sears gave an exemption based on what the parent reported the child' reaction was following a vaccination.

What "evaluation" could Dr. Sears have done to verify the reaction?

This is bogus. Dr. Sears was punished because he does not support the
CDC Vaccine schedule, even though Dr. Sears does believe in vaccinating.
So Dr. Sears is an "anti-vaxxer" heretic who must be destroyed to intimidate other
doctors to SHUT UP OR ELSE!!!

So if a child has a vaccine injury that is different from the vaccine injuries acknowledged by the pharmaceutical industry, he can't get a medical exemption???
The vaccine injury does not exist unless the pharmaceutical industry says it does???

And why is Dr. Sears labeled "anti-vax"? Dr. Sears believes in vaccines, but not
in the CDC schedule. So anyone who doesn't 100% support the CDC schedule
is an "anti-vaxxer", right SoutherBubby?

So you Pro-Vaxxers are OK with government ordering doctors how to
practice medicine?

You want doctors who are not allowed to use their own judgment, based on their years of experience and just follow orders of pharmaceutical industry? This is how medicine was practiced in the Soviet Union and other communist countries.

Dr. Sears is a medical doctor. There are other medical doctors who don't agree
with the CDC vaccine schedule.

Do you agree with Dr. Sears being punished for giving a child a medical exemption?

You aren't in the position to evaluate if he met the standard of care requirements in California.

I agree with doctors having checks and balances.

You obviously don't understand what I said.
You who don't vaccinate are protected by herd immunity until so few people vaccinate that herd immunity breaks down. Numerous people were treated in hospitals for the measles so had there been ten times as many cases, there would have presumably been 10X the amount of serious cases.
I feel that those who are not vaccinated benefit from those who do unless they want to catch measles or other contagious VPDs.
