Is it really hard to find jobs in Lakewood with a Special Education degree? This is one of my biggest worries about moving there! Sad

If you want a job in a school like schi, center, stars etc, there are openings frequently.

By "Special Ed jobs", do you mean the ones popular in the heimish community that only seem to exist in NYC like SEIT, etc? Or in general? I just did a quick google and there seem to be plenty of positions available in Monmouth and Ocean County. I didn't look for Deal, but its closer than Brooklyn and I am sure there are jobs there as well.

If you have a Masters in Special Ed, you should have no problem finding a job. If you are davka looking for one of the more part time, chose your own hours jobs... thats not quite the same question.

There are plenty of special ed jobs in Lakewood, they just don't pay so well. They also might not have the hours you want.

There might be more options if you are willing to travel a little (out of the frum community).

I don't work in special ed but I have lots of family who do.

How do I find people that I would be able to carpool with? Is there a way to find people to go with?
