I'm looking for books to guide us to parent a teen who doesnt obey and consequences dont scare him. Even the harshest of punishment

Has he always been like this, or is this a somewhat new thing? Is he just acting defiant, or is he doing anything dangerous?

Definitely a difference between defiant and dangerous. Also a difference between young teen and older teen.

Are you specifically looking for something Jewish? If not, there’s a great book called “Get out of my life! But first can you drive me and Cheryl to the mall?” It explains the inner world of teens really well and what kinds of rule setting and reinforcement are most effective, without taking away your expertise as the parent.

Thanks! Yes he was always the kid testing his waters but now its gotten way worse.
