I’m looking for more info about maarava. Is it true that they now offer first half?
Is it super yeshivish (ie:would girls wear ankle socks with long skirts?)?
What are the role models like?
How does it compare to Agudah Midwest?
We are jpf but looking for a place that will have a good influence on our daughter who is easily influenced by her surroundings but will definitely not do well in a stifling environment.
Any advice?

Bnos Maarava is pretty yeshivish (ankle socks with long skirts would not be common there if even allowed) but not stifling.. While it is in the Midwest, around half of the girls come from the East Coast. They are an Agudah camp and are more right wing than Agudah Midwest girls. They did open up a first half this past year but it was only teen camp. I have not yet heard what the plans are for first half for this coming year, but I'm sure you can call and find out. I can tell you that the camp is very popular and fills up very fast, so you need to apply early.

My sister (NY) applied to maarava but they were full. She went to the teen camp first half and loved it. It's very Frum but not stifling. I think knee socks are required.

Thank you! Isn’t it too early for applications?

Probably it is too early now, but once they are available you need to apply promptly.

Hi there! I went to Maarava as camper and staff and loved every minute of it. Most girls wear knee socks, some wear ankle socks but make sure to wear long skirts so the leg isnt shown. Its a frum camp that isnt even the slightest bit stifling bh. Awesome girls and staff. Really fun camp! Wish I could go back to revisit those summers!

Anyone have info about Agudah MTM?
What is it? Is it the same staff/campers as Maarava only at an earlier session?
I see they have a program for 7th and 8th graders this year?

Is the camp considered sporty/ outdoorsy?
