This should really go under just plain Health, but the closest option was Women's health, and this isn't specifically a women's question.

Dh came home from work yesterday with red, swollen rings around his eyes. Like someone smeared lipstick or punched him. It was alarming. He had taken benadryl before he left work but it didn't seem to do much. He woke up this morning and looked the same.

He has no idea what caused it but thinks it's an allergic reaction to something in his work environment, others were complaining of various issues for the past few days and they even had the environmental department come and do an assessment but so far, nothing turned up.

What can this be? If it is something in the work environment, why davka now this sudden reaction? Meanwhile for today they're going to a different office so hopefully that will help, but I'm nervous. Any thoughts from the wise and creative ladies here?
