So for whom do you cook all these fancy foods for? You are amazing that you are going through the effort even if your husband won't eat it

First, I like variety and flavor, so I cook for me. Also, we have company for most if not all of the meals.

Just me and the hubs! (And hopefully sleeping babies). We're not such big eaters, and we got invited out for the day meals.

Sunday night:
Challah+dips
Simanim
Pesto salmon
Cream of chicken soup
Chocolate souffles

Monday night:
Challah+dips
Simanim/fruit
?salmon? (Need help!)
Peach plum soup
Chocolate souffles

Ok so I'm not leaving any heat source on. I need a salmon recipe for night #2 that can be eaten cold. I dont like any ketchupy or bbq saucey or territaki-y or soy saucey type salmon.

Sounds yum! Love pesto salmon. You can do baked salmon smeared with mayo, salt and spices, broil the last few minutes.
Can I please have the chocolate souffle recipe? Thanks

Sounds so good. Unfortunately the mushrooms probably need to be larger pieces than my children will tolerate (I can get away with chopped, or in soup, but not this prominent!). Any thoughts for substitutes?

Just add extra zucchini and make it plain zucchini.

You just use a beater to beat the chocolate ingredients together? No cooking needed?

Teal, please could I trouble you to post your 2 roast recipes? If they have sugar or ketchup, you don't need to, can't use them.
People have been posting cream of chicken soup on their menus. Does anyone mind posting a recipe please?
