No it’s impossible lol and it’s so hard. But I am so happy buying on eBay because I can get quality things that are stylish.
Other brands off the top of my head are Louis Louise, Buho, Louis Misha, velveteen, bonton, Emile et ida...
I’ll let u know when I think of more

I have the same thing with my daughter! So either I do cute blouse or sweater with leggings, or a dress that’s mini enough to be a tunic and not super ruffly
Can’t wait for her hair to grow tho !!!!

Why don't toddlers wear dresses on Lakewood? (I don't mean as a tsnius thing- is it a cultural thing? Or a fashion thing?) In my liberal MO circles we put walking babies/toddlers in dresses for Shabbat/yomtov. There's no rule or anything but it's very common.

Trends keep changing in frum world.
Once past 16 mos toddlers were dressed in dresses for summer..
For winter age 2 was half wardrobe pants, half dresses.
By 2.5 was only dresses for summer.
Now styles are different.
People still buy mini dresses which get paired with leggings though so it looks like a hi waisted tunic

For all you mothers of 2 year olds, your kid just lets you pick out her clothes??? My kid had a very strong opinion at that age and refused to wear pants. She only wanted dresses and tights.

Not understanding why people dont dress their toddlers in cute knee length dresses for shabbos.... it looks so cute, dont you want your daughters to look pretty and feminine?
I love putting my girls in dresses at that age!

Thanks! I may sound crazy I know but she really does look ridiculous in dresses. I know I said upthread that I'd try but I really don't think it'll work for her . I know other kids her age that look heaven in dresses though!

It does sound crazy. That dress you don't like is sold in newborn size. There is no specific look a baby needs to wear a dress.

Ok but my kid looks funny in a dress (even my husband agrees and he is not the type to have opinions about these things at all). You don't have to believe me

It is true that hairless babies look a little silly in dresses. My oldest girl was like that, and it didn't help that she had a pacifier addiction!
But try adding a nice headband with a flower, and they look much better.

Same. RW MO. The links being shared of sweaters and leggings are weekday (and boyish) to me. I’ve been doing dresses since my baby started walking. It’s so odd that peope choose pants/leggings for Shabbos.

Seriously, people are allowed to have preferences. Everyone has different taste when it comes to clothing, it's all good.

Monday will really be low 70s at the highest. In the morning when she's playing outside it won't be too cold for bloomers? It's all I have from the summer! (We were pretty much in different city every Shabbos over the summer so she wore the same thing almost every week...)

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if it’s because in more RW circles the girls will be wearing dresses and skirts full time from 3 onwards so maybe letting the girls be comfy for a little longer while they are toddlers?

Personally, I just don't like dresses on babies. Not sure why. I just got an order from H&M and didn't realize that the outfit I thought was a t-shirt and leggings is actually a dress and leggings, and I think it looks funny on my one-year-old.
Nothing to do with current Lakewood fashion, which I think is awful this year - all those diaper covers with suspenders - I just don't like it. Didn't put dresses on my older daughter until she was 2 or so. (ETA: I don't do dresses/skirts at 3, maybe your assumption is correct for those who do!)

I don’t put my baby girls in dresses, because from 3 and on they will be in dresses. I want to dress them comfy and baby like as long as I can... the same reason I don’t put my baby boys in button down to shirts... they’ll be wearing them for the rest of their lives.

I must’ve gotten the same thing for my 10 month old. I ended up cutting it down to a T-shirt length and it looks adorable.
