As others have pointed out there are numerous alternative exercises that are as good or better at calorie burning, improving flexibility and improving muscle tone.
However, if your heart is truly set on pole dancing as an exercise. I don't see what the problem is so long as you are not practicing or learning in a strip club. In my experience, there are lots of exercises which move the body in ways that are not "modest" - there is nothing inherently "bad" with pole dancing if you take away its association with strippers. But then lots of things done in the privacy of one's home would be inappropriate if done in public so I am not even seeing why this would be singled out.
