My nephew improved after being in Miami and going to the ocean daily for a few weeks.

I looked him up. Sorry, but this is no go for us. I refuse to use steroids at all ever. We had a really bad experience right in the beginning of this eczema journey, which may or may not have contributed to where we are now, but since then, I won't go there.

Stick to your gut feeling. Another no go here on steroids. Got rid of most of my child's horrific eczema, no steroids. The one time we put on Bec child was miserable ended in disastrous results.

so wrap in gauze. or plastic wrap. or both. google wet wraps for eczema.

Skin needs to breath. Hence why best to wear cotton. Gauze and plastic wrap doesn't help with that. Gotta treat from inside. Anything else is a bandaid fix. I won't trade one party for another. We couldn't cover main location either and tested only internally. Barely used cream, only after bath. You would never believe the before and after.

Can you share your approach? I've done lots of stuff over the years, but the last few years I was so done, that we stopped doing everything except moisturize and controlling for infection. Kid also "tried" to stay away from trigger foods but definitely cheated too much. I feel ready for a new solution which is targeted, not like the PP who mentioned tons of supplements.
