I have SO. MUCH. LEFTOVER. CHALLAH. It's just the two of us so we didn't eat much of it. What can I do with it? DH doesn't like french toast...

Let it get hard and then toast it in the oven for a bit. You can make bread crumbs out of it or cube it and spice it for croutons.

Savory bread pudding and challah pizza are always good choices.

This is a good, not sweet challah Kugel. It needs lots of salt and pepper

Perfect name for this thread!

Challah kugels, sweet or savory, are a great way to use up challah and they freeze well too!

I sometimes make a dairy version with challah soaked in milk and baked with cheese and spices plus veggies if I have time.

I save my challah bits all year to make stuffing! Its a favorite of ours! As soon as I have enough saved up I make a batch for shabbos. So good!

I had so much challah left over so I made kugels to freeze for the next few weeks. Sautée onions, carrots, celery and mushrooms till they are soft. Break the challah apart and pour some hot water over it, mix everything together, add some eggs and bake for around 45 minutes.
