Sauté onion (I prefer a purple onion) leek and cabbage till soft. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix in some pastrami. Form egg rolls and fry. They freeze beautifully and reheat well uncovered in the oven for a short time. Can also freeze raw and fry fresh. Serve two on a plate cut on the diagonal with duck sauce on the side. I use those hard plastic little spoon bowls for the sauce.

I love the dipping sauce from KBD for chicken wontons - works really well for egg rolls. Just mix some apricot jam or duck sauce with a drop each of mustard and teriyaki sauce. The flavor is amazing. I don't even bother measuring - it comes out great every time.

no, just serve right out of fridge, or at room temperature if you prefer.

I love this one too. I do heat it up or at least serve it room temperature.
