The title says it all. I bought a chicken roll (not pickled). Do I cook it stovetop or in the oven. And how?

Is it a netted chicken breast? How many pounds?

Pickled? If yes. I put it in water to cover, with onions and garlic and cook it for abt 2 1/2 hrs. Slice it when semi frozen and serve it with some kind of sauce. It's a yt favorite
Eta: Sorry I see now it's not pickled. Then I don't have experience.

You can make it like OOTBubby's turkey roast.
You can use sliced onion underneath and crushed garlic and salt on the roast instead of the soup mix, then top with the cranberry.
