Clear packing tape works, so does masking tape. Although the masking tape doesn't look as nice. You could also use a hole puncher to make holes in the top of whatever it is you're hanging and hang it from the Schach with those colorful pipe cleaner thingies...

3m command picture hanging strips. They're sticky doublesided, don't leave Mark when remove and work for all weights. All local hardware stores carry then

I'm using blue "funtac" and the Scotch brand version of it.
So far so good.
I feel the blue one holds better than Scotch brand though.
