I’m confused. This is from their site:
GENERAL VENUE INFO
The Ford Amphitheater is a covered outdoor venue located on the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn. All shows are 'Rain or Shine' – in the event of wet weather, the driest place is at your seat under our roof enjoying a live show. For general info on the venue, please check our Live Nation site.
Where was the cover?

One side of the theatre is totally open on the side allowing wind and rain to come in.

It’s my DH first time siyum Hashas l, meaning he’s making a siyum
But we live in Florida, not use to the cold.
He really wants to go but can’t risk to get sick
Has low immunity
Is it enclosed?

I would send a complaint
If enough people complain that will coincided finding an indoor space next time

I cant believe theyre having a concert there, this year again.

Theyre making the concert outdoors and in case of rain will move to the nearby Ampitheater.

Hello!!!! the Ford Ampitheater was freezing, and rain got in!

The place has faulty drainage. The floor was sopping wet. Like sitting in a flooded basement during a storm.

No one can know now if it will rain.

Its Tzar Baalei Chayim.

Rain was blowing in.

They have to stop making frum concerts there when its not he summer. Chol Hamoded Sukkos and Pesach, when they have concerts is usually chilly weather. Not a good time for this theater.

Im sure as the sun will come out tomorrow, that many people, after spending hundreds on tickets, got sick, sitting there for 2+ hours.

The INSIDE of the theater was windy, and rain came in from the sides.

Its unwise and definitely Tzar Baalei Chayim.

Ask any doctor how colds and pneumonia work. You can not catch them from rain or cold weather. They can only be transmitted from germs from other people.

When I bought the tickets I didn’t realize that I would be exposed to the elements. I live in Brooklyn but have never been to any other concerts here and have never heard of this theater before. I didn’t think it necessary to check out the venue. Would never have imagined they would put on a concert at this time of year in a place that exposed people to the weather.

I really enjoyed Mordechai Shapiro but the venue was terrible in many ways. Aside from the weather there were not enough people manning security which caused crazy lines getting in. It took almost an hour to get in which is nuts!

We left early. I couldn’t see spending all night there in that weather. $140 down. The kids enjoyed regardless.

I don’t understand why every person who purchased tickets there did not complain and demand either a refund for having to leave early, or credit for future tickets.
