Anyone have an idea of where to get a metallic gold knit? Went to Whoopi they didn’t have. Any other ideas of where I can go or call?

Would love black bloopers with a gold knit top or al gold knit set. Less all black.

Thank you ppl!

I had a girl after many boys and I got a pink puffy dress from hannah anderson as a gift from a friend of my parents. It was really fun to put her in it for rosh hashana even though it was not really necessary. I totally get why you want to get something fun for your simcha!

It depends on what shade of gold you are trying to match.

Honestly, unless someone is going to be upset that an infant doesn't match, I'd put her in something sweet and innocent and baby-like, like this

There are so many amothers here who can't feed their families.

Maybe you could make a donation, and find something affordable for your baby. Pretty should not cost a week's worth of groceries.

This is completely uncalled for...no one has the right to judge how someone else is spending HER money. Have you ever splurged and purchased something nice for yourself? A fancy sheitel? An expensive nosh? How would you feel if someone told you that you should have purchased something cheaper and donated the difference?

Can you get a pale gold top and tights, and get a seamstress to make you a gold ballerina style skirt from tulle?

Casual place has classic gold metallic knit 2 pc set for babies, this season. They have a store in Williamsburg & Monroe. They are a very reasonably priced store.

For all you know, she's given millions in donations. For all you know, the only reason that you are able to feed and clothe your kids is because of the generosity of OP.

Sheesh.

I would not follow the color scheme for a baby . Baby girls look so much cuter in pink or other girly colors .

Do you happen to have seen one online? I would prefer a romper/ outfit/ two piece but can’t seem to find one anywhere. The stores I was able to go to irl most things were around 100+ hence the price range...

Also, a headband costs 26$, let that sink in when ppl are freaking out about the price of shoes. So ya she’s getting a black headband so she can wear it with everything she owns:) which you btw can only buy online and have to pay shipping for ....

What kind of head band costs $26? I have never seen a headband for more than $10 and I have been to many stores.

$200 for an infant's wedding dress? Surprised

Flower girl - maybe, but for a 4 month old baby?

Someone please explain this to me. I've never heard of this before.

Thank you! I think it’s insane. Feh.

Sorry but I don’t think that’s nice. She’s my long awaited princess among boys Bh. I don’t dress my kids fancy at all but my family all does. My boys got beautiful suits from a rental but I can’t seem to find something sweet for our princess.

Bh it’s in my budget (not unlimited at all but Bh can afford some extras, and I would love for her to wear something super special, I prefer that to buying my boys all new shoes for example...)

The baby is 0nly coming for pictures and you’re ready to spend $200?You can borrow something or get her something much cheaper and please donate the balance you would’ve spent-to tzedakah. I dont think Ha-Shem appreciates this need to compete and show off and total waste of money.

So let me understand. You rather get your baby a $200 outfit to wear for 10 minutes for pictures than shoes for your boys! I think everyone would agree shoes are much more practical, reasonable and understandable than this waste of money for 10 minutes. I can’t imagine how people here who are struggling with money will feel reading this
