It seems like it's a wet sukkos so many places this year. We got to eat in the sukkah most days, but overall it's been very wet and a bit cold for this time of year.

The first two days were glorious! Sunny, warm, with a cool breeze. We are so thankful for those blissful first days of Succos! Makes up for the 2 days of cold windy downpours we are currently having.

Nope! Got hit by that short and nasty thunderstorm the other day in Israel and had to pick up the pieces of our succah. Rain is expected sometimes on Succot, but not this.

Interesting that it seems to be wet elsewhere too.

Here in Lakewood most of my neighbors sukkas came crashing down last night!!!! Our sukka is drenched but still standing. So sad to see the wood, decorations and schach scattered on the ground - all that hard work (and money)....
