my family likes only barley cholent..does anyone make theyre cholent like that and have an exact recipe? mine always comes out different, and consistence off...I know it depends on croc pot and how high/low, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas

If you want a proper recipe you could try Jamie Geller. It's a barley chulent. Look on YouTube. I've made it and it came out very nice.

What do you mean by barley cholent? Just barley, no beans or potatoes?

I do navy beans, great northern beans, barley and meat. No measurements, just more barley for a thicker cholent, less for a more watery one.
