I read a thread in the controversial section and it made me terribly depressed. So, I'm making a thread (not sure if one already exists, but couldn't find one) celebrating being a woman in Orthodox Judaism!
So, to start... I love being a woman in Judaism because:
The Torah has such immense wisdom to learn from!
It makes me comfortable and proud to be a woman!
Tznius makes me feel secure!
Shabbos is AMAZING!
My DH has such great respect for me and I've seen other husbands who greatly respect their wives (the emphasis on Shalom Bayis in general too!)

I feel the same way!! I have never felt disrespected in Orthodox Judaism. (That’s not to say there aren’t disrespectful PEOPLE, but those are everywhere)
I believe in the Torah and I have been taught how woman are special in our roles. I am proud of who I am. I also have a husband with incredible middos who respects women.
