What type of neighborhood is this? What types of families are moving there?
Where do most neighborhood children go to school?
And how much are houses going for?
Also, has there been tension with the (non-Jewish) neighbors as the community grows? Worried about that...

Near Monsey
A friend of DH's moved there about a year ago and is very happy there. He's in his 30s with a number of kids, considers himself yeshivish but not ultra RW. Their kids go to school in Monsey, not sure how transportation works. I think he paid in the 600s for his house, but not 100% sure.

I only know people living in Haverstraw and they are from the yeshivish crowd and send their sons to Bais Dovid.
