Some of the holes on the kugel blade have sharp edges so that it can cut through a raw potato. This blade looks like it has holes with flat edges so that it can cut through cheese. I don't think it'll work.
if you have an S blade, you can use it on chunks of potatoes. Just cut the potatoes first and then put into the food processor. This works very well and that's what I do to make kugel.
