... that can hold our hands from start to finish throughout the process of opening our new business. We have the capital and drive; we’re just not sure where to start from. So many things need to fell in place it’s overwhelming!
Is there any really nice smart quick and patient business coach you worked with in Lakewood?

Check the chamber of commerce. NY has a program where that match successful volunteer retirees with people starting out.
The ones I knew were knowledgeable.

please
proceed with caution
so many people out there masquerading as business coaches
only take referral from someone who
used a coach
and was successful doing so
or
let the coach give you
five people they helped
if they can't
pay a bit
see if what they say makes sense
and only then proceed
also read a lot
get familiar with what's freely available
books blogs youtube
whatever floats your boat
this is important so you can distinguish between advice that anyone reads alot can give you
and
a real expert who was out there in the business world
it also gives you context industry language and terms/lingo that are thrown around
don't drop money on the first taker
wishing you loads of success
Get onto LinkedIn
research people
see who recommends them
check their activity

And make sure the person giving a recommendation is not related to the consultant in any way

Thank you. We’re looking to open a store in Lakewood. Don’t want to be specific but it will be some kind of apparel for kids.
