I see that there are tons of inexpensive, long black skirts on Amazon. I have tried a few which are not very flattering on my heavy-set frame (5"6, 215). Can anyone recommend one that would work? Thank you!!

I can’t stress this enough: buy only straight skirts! A line, flared and worst of all, pleated skirts all make you look much bigger! Only straight skirts are slenderizingl That’s why I think you should first go into local stores and try styles on and see for yourself which styles and sizes are best for you and then you’ll have a better idea what to order online. I’ll bet the ones you tried were A line/flared...no?

I bought a slinky style skirt that’s straight on amazon
I’m around 15 lbs overweight and very short. Straight skirts for me look better. I also know that I look better when I’m not wearing long skirts so I only wear it in the house or the car...
I can post a link later.
Search on here because in the summer a woman who said she’s heavy posted a few amazon links for black skirts

Why should you be offended? It's a fact. Fat is different from curvy, which is the other type of plus size, and clothes fit differently.
