What about not chasidish? Do they live in the same area as the chasidish? Is the whole thing walking distance? So if I"m invited for shabbos meals in diferent homes, how far could one be from another?

Chassidish neighborhood is walking distance to the yeshivish one. Both are in Outremont. This is walking distance to chabad. (Cote Des Neiges), which is a bit far from the largest MO neighborhood. (Hampstead/Cote St.Luc)

Your best bet is to google-map it and decide how much you can walk.
There is a Cote St Luc/Hampstead eruv but it does not communicate with the outremont Eruv (ie they are not contiguous). I'm not sure about the Outremont eruv (but I have friends and could ask if you need). Pm me.

Most chassidim live in one area, they call it "downtown" but it's really Outremont. It's all just about 10-12 blocks, by about 4 long blocks. Shouldn't be too far from one to another, maybe up to 25 minute walk but I would for sure check it up on the map first because there's always exceptions.
The last block of the eiruv would be Wiseman.
Going to uptown (where all the regular non chassidim live) means going out of the chassidish eiruv. You can't carry from one to another. There's also a Jewish community in Mont Royal, and Hempstead.
Cote st luc can be about an hour walk, maybe more, depending on where you're going. They do have good bagels tho.
Let us know if there's anything else you may need!

Answer to bolded is No. You need to find out which neighborhood everyone lives.
