I am currently renovating my walk down basement to include it as living space and would like suggestions for paint colors.
I will have a mudroom like entry, a guestroom, playroom and home office.
It's important that the rooms like very bright and airy since the ceilings are low, but I do like color.
Also I wouldn't go too weird with the playroom since I plan on using it for hosting and parties sometimes.

Do you have furniture, carpet or linens that will be going down there or are you starting from scratch?

The floor is 10 years old but in good condition so I am not changing it. It's stone tiles with a mock light brown parquet print on it.
I am changing the carpeting on the steps though.
