Roasted in the oven. Spread spears on baking sheet lined with parchment paper (should not overlap at all). Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes, depending on how thick the asparagus is.

I just roast with salt and pepper and a drizzle of oil. In case you don't already know... white asparagus should be peeled otherwise they taste dreadful.

Roast at 400 for 18 mim with 3 garlic cloves, olive oil and kosher salt. Same as with green.
