I was invited to a tenaim, please tell me what do I say and do when I am there? how long do I stay? do you just say mazel tov and leave? also is there food there? how do you dress?

It is just as an engagement party. It is usually a come and a go, of course there is food. But it is usually self service.

Socialize, say Mazal Tov, take a bite of something that looks good and go home. Some kallahs will ask to have a photo taken with you depending on your relationship.

Say mazel tov. socialize with anyone you might meet that you know. Theres usually cakes, miniatures or fruit you can grab something to eat but you dont have to. Stay as long or as short as you want average is half an hour depending on your relationship
