I am looking for a black fedora for my 2 yr old. Either in Brooklyn or somewhere with quick shipping since I need it for this week.

If he’s going to be Shabbos Abba in day care, go to a store specializing in costumes for the October 31 holiday —I think they’re called Jack’s?—and get a plastic fedora that is covered in black flock.

If you’re from a community that dresses toddlers like miniature gangsters in three-piece double-breasted suits and black fedoras, I can’t help you.

Have the dressmaker remove the ribbon or do it yourself with a seam ripper.

Janie and Jack has a great navy fedora.

I got my toddler an adorable hat on Amazon. Definitely worth checking, especially with prime.

Thank you everyone. I needed a proper hat for a bar mitzva. He was dressed in shorts with suspenders and he's obsessed with hats. If I wouldn't have gotten him his own he would have harassed the bar mitzvah boy for his all night. LOL

I'm so glad I read this all the way through, without posting my knee jerk reaction.

My first thought was "Good grief, now even the toddlers have to have proper hats. This must be the new 'thing' that everyone has to have, like $60 hair bows and fancy strollers." Rolling Eyes

I think it's sweet that you're getting your little guy a hat, and that he wants to dress up like the big boys. Costume shops should have everything on sale for 1/2 off right now.

I got it on Amazon Prime and he looked absolutely adorable. He's so proud of his hat now. He wears it wherever he goes.
