What do women wear for shabbos coats these days?
Bunch of years ago I had a long wool coat, then after that I just wore my weekday puffer. Now I think ive seen short velvet or suede? Not sure

I have several coats that I inherited (60s peacoats and swing coats) fur (real and faux) and shearling.

No idea about other women, but I have a Calvin Klein belted wool coat with a "fur" trim on the hood that I love for Shabbos.

OP, I don't want to hijack your thread, but since you asked...

I had a Shabbos coat while I was dating. As matter of fact, I still have it. It lines my coat closet.

Maybe I'd wear it when it's 50 degrees outside, but when it's 20 degrees, I'll freeze my head off in that coat! It's a wool blend, and it's about as warm as a chicken soup that's been sitting out for two hours. I know it hurts to be beautiful, but I always found this beyond ridiculous. At this point in my life, I wear my puffer on Shabbos, too.
