I'm looking for a recipe for the kind if Lima beans you eat in chicken soup. With salt, pepper, and sugar.

Make them the same way you make chickpeas / arbis. Soak overnight. Drain & rinse. Cover with 2 inches of water, add 1/2 tsp baking soda, bring to a boil, lower heat to low and cook about 1.5 hours. Season with sugar, salt and pepper to taste.

Thank you so much. Never made arbis before and I wasnt sure if you season before or during boiling. Got it now:)

I recently tried a baked chic peas that came out great. Do you think I could bake lima beans in the oven? Anyone have a recipe for that?
