Hi, I’m looking for a scooter for my 14 year old son.
I want something that rides well and won’t break after a few weeks

We had a Razor which lasted throughout my childhood, and across many, many miles of riding. It may still exist, back at my parents' apartment. If they're still made the same, then I would recommend Razor.

Another vote for Razor - they're well made and popular for a reason. If you're not in a rush, you should be able to get a good deal on one on Black Friday - keep an eye on Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

Are you referring to razors with the small wheels or special for older kids?
Because the small wheeled ones break so quickly!!

Mine was made of metal, with normal sized gel/rubber wheels. It didn't break, it was high off the ground, and I loved it.

I dunno, I have the regular one for my kids (I assume it's what you're calling small wheels because they aren't big?) and they seem rock solid. Almost everyone I know has them and I've seen them still working after quite a lot of beating. I bought them on Black Friweek either last year or the year before for about $18 each.

They would not be big enough for a 14-year-old but I know that Razor has a similar type of scooter for bigger riders. I'm thinking of getting one myself so I can keep up with my kids!
