I want to store some sauce in the freezer to use in the future
Since I can’t find it in kosher stores, I’m making it from scratch.
I want to store any remaining sauce in a soup plastic container with a lid. (I don’t know their size but it’s definitely less than a gallon?)
I’m looking to fill up two plastic containers with this sauce.
How much should I make? My math is absolutely horrible and I need you geniuses to help me out here

That size container is called a 2-lb deli container. 4 cups will fill it up.

If you have a small family, or only need to thaw out a small amount of sauce at a time, get the one pound deli containers.
you need to store less than that, use ziplock sandwich bags, label them, and freeze them flat on a cookie sheet. Then you can store them and thaw them easily.

Containers have sizes. There is 8 oz which is one cup. ( smaller dip size) There is 16 oz which is 2 cups. ( like chrein size) There is 32 oz which is 4 cups ( small sour pickle size)
There is 64 oz which is like family pack sour pickles size. that is 8 cups.

most sauces that come in jars would fit into a pickle size container that's 32 oz. RA mom is right that would make 4 cups
