I am interested in beginning cello, but price is very much a concern. Where can I buy a cello, and what is the lowest price I could get away with? Electric or acoustic are both fine, as is used; it just needs to be a playable cello.

Maybe try renting first? I paid $40 a month. The teacher and school I was using had recommendations of places that rent and sell.
