I was dropping off my dc this morn and I couldnt help but feel bad for all the cute freezing tushies out there waiting for their buses!

I will say thou- there is something very cozy about the indoors on days like today. Gonna cook some comfort food for dinner. Hbu?

I hate the cold!!! I'm cold by nature so that leaves me freezing in the winter.

One of the cute little tushies around here didn't have time to freeze. She woke up so late and dashed out to juust make the bus. When I came downstairs I was freezing inside! She left the front door wide open Smile

About 2 minutes after we got to our bus stop, my down-the-block neighbor picked DD up in her car. She decided it was too cold to wait, and offered same to DD.

I gladly went back home. Brrrrrrrr.....

On the positive side, the drinks in my garage are all perfect drinking temperature. I now have extended refrigeration.....

~~9 degrees this morning in Detroit. With a lot of the 4-6 inches not having melted. So strange to be driving and still see some fairly pretty colorful trees.~~ Disregard. You ladies are allowed to vent too.

I check the weather before I leave and I happened to have checked the east coast too and I couldn’t believe how cold it got. I plan on going in about a month, month in a half, I hope it warms up. Very Happy

Ladies, your way stronger and more resilient than that. I walk/run in the morning. If you dress properly, it's crisp and invigorating. Not bitter cold yet.
Stop telling yourself how cold it is. So much is in the head. I know because a short time ago, I sounded just like you.

What about 6 months from now? How cold does it get?
We got another half to one inch last night. It is going to warm up to 40 beH over the next few days. Scheduling gutter cleaning will be complicated.

Yes, on Monday it was around 60! That’s why we are complaining about that sudden freezing.... however over the next few months it will only get colder and at some point we will actually think that 19 means it’s warming up. Welcome winter 🥶 ❄️!
