Hugs! Sorry you are going through this. I have cried multiple times at my job (been there many years) due to my manager. She hurts me so badly sometimes. I haven’t left because it’s good pay and I like the work and I’m scared to start from scratch. I’m recently married and I don’t have the energy to start over. My husband tells me to stand up for myself but it’s so hard.

I am sorry to hear that. Working takes up such a large part of our day -- a lousy manager can really make us miserable.

#1 search quietly for something. But the pay must be very good to swich. #2 to stand up for yourself is easier than done. Its hard to prove things. I did once at another job for one thing that she could not deny but other times it didnt help. Its hard to prove and nobody wants to afirm they heard. Most times if its already like this for months or years its easier to try a new place.
