Teenage daughter trying to lose weight
Looking for healthy normal nutritionist in Brooklyn who will accept Medicaid insurance as payment
If doesn’t take insurance, then any recommendations for somebody not too pricey

I think every bariatric surgeon has one in office. So try office of Marina Kurian, christine ren, bariatric of maimonides...Im not sure they need first appt with the surgeon or not ....some big clinics have. For example ODA. If being their patient first is a must then do it.

BP Nutrition accepts all insurance except Medicare so I assume they'll accept Medicaid too. 347-746-0453

They have registered dietitians and they are good. You can trust homever they assign the child to.

Fidelis medicaid unfortunately does not cover nutritionists, so no nutritionist takes it (not beth, not BP Nutrition, no one). If you need nutrition, you have to change to another medicaid.

BP nutrition takes all the other medicaids. UHC medicaid, Empire Blue Cross Medicaid, Healthfirst Medicaid and Emblem Medicaid.

I do not recommend taking a kid to a bariatric surgeon's office.

Zehava Zell also does not take Fidelis Medicaid because they do not cover any nutritionists. Not sure about ODA. I know a lot of people switch medicaids because they need this service.
