I am looking to buy a new winter jacket online. It is difficult for me to go shopping, as I have not been feeling well lately. When I went online today, all I see are ads for packable puffer coats. Can you tell me what it is? Is it warm? What does puffer mean, and what makes it packable? Please explain. Thanks!

Packable means that its thin and soft and it can be squeezed into a small bag.

Very thin down coat. Good for 40 degree weather. Colder than that you usually need something thicker.
