It helps me know who the poster is without reading her SN . However, the avatar itself means nothing to me other than the fact that Singleagain worked really hard creating avatars for lots of us.

I always thought of Marina as a wise old person because of her Dumbledore avatar. But I think the names are more telling than the avatars since so many of them (avatars) are generics.

I had that problem with my previous avatar (wheat field against blue sky), which is why I changed it.
